PRINTING ERROR CAUSES VENDOR
TO REMAIL
PALM BEACH COUNTY’S SAMPLE BALLOT PAGES
TO VOTERS
Due to a printing error by The Tribune on Palm Beach County’s Sample Ballot, the vendor will be mailing the ballot pages along with a copy of the attached letter. The correction will begin to be mailed by the end of this week to all voters who received Sample Ballots.
Supervisor of Elections, Susan Bucher said, “In order for voters to be able to research the candidates and the ballot questions in advance of voting, we work hard to provide a copy of their actual ballot to them in the form of Sample Ballots prior to the elections. We worked with our vendor to place a watermark under the ballot language to notice the voters that this was only their Sample Ballot. In the past, some voters have returned their voted Sample Ballots thinking that they have voted. Unfortunately, the printer made a mistake and actually printed over the ballot language causing the voter not to see all of the ballot language. The vendor has agreed to mail a correction that will include all three ballot pages to each voter who received their Sample Ballot.”
