Anonym / Thursday, November 6, 2008 / Categories: 2008 Palm Beach County Canvassing Board Continues Review of Absentee Ballots and Provisional Ballots West Palm Beach, Fla. - November 6, 2008 -The Palm Beach County Canvassing Board reconvened this morning to continue reviewing Absentee and Provisional Ballots from the November 4th General Election. The Canvassing Board continued the process of reviewing Absentee Ballots to address issues of voter signature discrepancies and voter intent. Today the board began reviewing approximately 2,000 Provisional Ballots, 490 from Early Voting and 1,550 from Election Day. The Board will reconvene tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Tabulation Center. This process will continue until all Absentee and Provisional Ballots have been reviewed. The first unofficial results must be reported to the Department of State in Tallahassee by noon on Saturday, November 8th.
