Anonym / Friday, October 31, 2008 / Categories: 2008 Palm Beach County Canvassing Board Continues Review of Absentee Ballots West Palm Beach, Fla. - October 31, 2008 -The Palm Beach County Canvassing Board reconvened this morning at 8:30 am to continue reviewing Absentee Ballots for the November 4th General Election. The Board reviewed 1,623 Absentee Ballots today to address issues of voter signature discrepancies and voter intent. Voter intent issues were addressed in cases of ballots that contained multiple votes in one category (referred to as over votes), cases where no vote was cast at all (referred to as under votes) or cases where the voter designated his/her choice in a fashion other than connecting the arrows as instructed. The Board will reconvene tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Tabulation Center. This process will continue through the General Election on Tuesday or until all Absentee Ballots have been reviewed.
